COVID-19 Safety Acknowledgment
Liability Waiver and Release of Claims

The V Foundation takes event safety seriously. The V Wine Celebration will be an exciting, inclusive and safe fundraising event weekend for all to enjoy, and we look forward to your help in making it so!

We have put in place precautionary measures aimed at preventing and reducing the spread of COVID-19 among attendees of the V Wine Celebration event; however, the V Foundation cannot guarantee that its guests, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending the V Wine Celebration event (including your travel to and from such event) could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19.

We anticipate that each of you understand there is implied risk when gathering in groups. Knowledge of COVID-19 is still evolving. Everyone attending this year’s event will be required to follow our safety protocols. Entry will be denied for those who cannot. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to keep each other safe as we join together in our collective efforts to fund critical research to help save lives!

Vaccination / Testing Requirements: The V Foundation will REQUIRE proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test administered within 72-hours or less of attendance to any V Foundation events. Documentation will be checked at the Grove, the Estate Yountville Guest Registration desk, at the hours listed below. A wristband will be provided once documentation is verified.

A photo of your vaccination card or negative test result saved to your phone is sufficient. If you cannot provide proof of vaccination or a recent COVID-19 negative test result, we have set-up a designated COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Lounge at the Cypress Lawn, the Estate Yountville. This service is provided free of charge and optional for anyone regardless of vaccination status, with results in 15 minutes.

Please note, in the event of a positive test result, we will require guests to take a PCR test at a local Napa facility 15-minutes away and isolate in their hotel room or home until they receive confirmed results.

You may also visit B12-LOVE to register ahead of time or call/text (707) 947-3004 to book a COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test in Napa with results within an hour.

Attendance to individual events will not be permitted without necessary documentation of negative COVID-19 test or vaccination card.

Masks / Face Coverings: Face coverings will be required for all guests, regardless of vaccination status, for all indoor events and on our group transportation. The Answer for Cancer Symposium has been updated to be mask required regardless of vaccination status as it is opened to the public, and we have many immunocompromised guests and caregivers who attend that event.  For those individuals who are not fully vaccinated, we recommend face coverings based on CDC guidance at all times indoors and in outdoor crowded settings. We will have masks available for use or you may bring your own. For up to date information on CDC recommendations, click here.

Wellness Checks: We are advising any guest who may feel sick or experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough, or loss of smell and taste in the days leading up to our event to please decline this year’s event and consider enjoying a future V Wine Celebration.

Guest Count: We are expecting up to 450 guests throughout the weekend, which aligns with local and state ordinances and venue capacity restrictions.

Venues: Most events will occur outdoors in open air. If guests are uncomfortable in indoor settings, we ask them to please decline attendance to that event. We have updated our website Schedule of Events with information about specific event locations for your information.

Guest Transportation: Group transportation to all V Wine Celebration events is provided, and all transportation providers will wear masks. To board the group transportation, guests will also need to wear masks covering their nose and mouth. For guests who are uncomfortable boarding vehicles that are full, we will have smaller vehicles available with more open seating.

Table Assignments: We will share table assignments in advance of the auction gala and program to avoid crowding at a seating chart. Please request your table number at guest event registration at The Grove if you are registered to attend our Auction Gala & Program. All other events are open seating and/or standing reception-style events.

Hand Sanitizer: We will provide individual hand sanitizers and wipes to each guest and offer sanitizing stations in several areas of the venue. Packaged wipes will also be available in the hotel rooms for both hands and surfaces.

We ask that the guests from the below categories decline this year’s event series:

1. Individuals who currently or within the past fourteen (14) days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others;

2. Individuals who have traveled at any point in the past fourteen (14) days either internationally or to a community in the U.S. that has experienced or is experiencing sustained community spread of COVID-19; or

3. Individuals who believe that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.

As developments continue to evolve, so will our approach to keeping you safe. We thank you for your patience and flexibility and ask that you check back here for updates. We look forward to welcoming you to Napa!
