What is considered the full Wine Celebration Experience?

The Wine Celebration is best experienced as a three-day series of events, beginning Thursday, August 5 through Saturday, August 7. These events are planned as in-person live events, with no capacity limits or physical distancing required.

We are expecting up to 450 guests throughout the weekend, which aligns with local and state ordinances and venue capacity restrictions. Most events will occur outdoors in open air.


The State of California fully reopened its economy on June 15. All hotels, restaurants, wineries and businesses are fully open with safety measures in place, with no capacity limits or physical distancing required at this time.

Face coverings will be required for all guests, regardless of vaccination status, for all indoor events and on our group transportation. Masks will be required for our Answer for Cancer Symposium on Saturday, August 7. For those individuals who are not fully vaccinated, we recommend face coverings based on CDC guidance at all times indoor and in outdoor crowded settings. We will have masks available for use or you may bring your own. For up to date information on CDC recommendations, click here.

The V Foundation takes event safety seriously. For more on the precautionary measures aimed at preventing and reducing the spread of COVID-19 among our attendees, please visit our health and safety protocol.

What if I don't feel comfortable travelling in-person this year?

For guests who do not wish to travel to Napa Valley for our in-person program this year, we will be sharing access to our Answer for Cancer Symposium through our Behind the V YouTube Channel.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations for the event must be received before July 2, 2021 in order to receive a full refund for admissions purchased. Any cancellations received after that date will be considered general donations, of which 100% will be tax deductible.

If you feel sick or are experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough, or loss of smell and taste in the days leading up to our event, please decline this year’s event and consider enjoying a future V Wine Celebration.

Is Transportation Included?

Transportation to all V events is included with the price of admission, with departures to/from designated locations. Transportation to/from the hotel, ancillary venues and airport is not included.

All transportation providers will wear masks. To board the group transportation, guests will also need to wear masks covering their nose and mouth. For guests who are uncomfortable boarding vehicles that are full, we will have smaller vehicles available with more open seating.

How Can I reserve Hotel Rooms for the weekend?

Weekend Guests of the V Foundation Wine Celebration are invited to stay with us at Hotel Villagio or Vintage House, at the Estate Yountville. Reservations are booked on a first-come, first-served basis when registering for the weekend events, and the cost of admissions for events does not include hotel accommodations. What do I wear for the Wine Celebration Events?

Dress attire for the weekend events is a mix between Napa Cocktail and Napa Chic, depending upon your personal style! We suggest light wraps and jackets for the evenings when temperatures in the valley can cool and stylish cocktail attire for the dressier auction gala. Jackets and ties are not required.
