From the entire staffs of the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the V Wine Celebration, we hope you will join us on August 1-3, 2013 at the V Foundation Wine Celebration’s 15th Anniversary in the beautiful Napa Valley! We are privileged and excited to welcome back friends and family to our anniversary celebration hosted by Coach K and his wife Mickie. Your unwavering support has been essential to our years of success, and demonstrates your true commitment to fulfill Jimmy V’s mission as we work together in our continued fight against cancer.
To celebrate 15 years of achievements, we have created our most fabulous series of events to date! New this year is the addition of exclusive Winery Dinners hosted by the proprietors on Thursday evening. Friday, begin your morning in luxury with a Bentley Driving Experience through the Napa Valley. In the afternoon, engage your senses with a wine exploration at a Riedel Wine Tasting. Friday night we’ll get the party started at our “All-Stars of Research” celebration featuring renowned restaurateurs, preeminent vintners and custom barrel auction, followed by a high-energy performance by world-class band and concert act David Martin’s House Party.
On Saturday morning we feature the Cancer Research Symposium where the nation’s leading physicians and research scientists present the latest advances in cancer treatments. In the afternoon, savor boutique and legendary wines with a fusion of edibles at the Innovators & Icons Marketplace.
Saturday evening we gather together for world-class auctions and a lavish dinner at Nickel & Nickel Winery. The event begins with a wine reception and Silent & Showcase auctions, followed by our Gala Dinner, Audi Car Raffle and Live Auction. The night tops with a private performance by Oscar and Grammy winning rock singer and guitarist, Melissa Etheridge.
