   The V Foundation and V Wine Celebration Boards of Directors invite you to join us for the 13th Annual V Foundation Wine Celebration.  It’s a fabulous weekend where you’ll drink great wines, eat superbly prepared food, make new friends, and by participating, join in the fight against cancer.

We’re changing things up!

   We are extremely excited to unveil the new , Friday Night, “Let’s Get it Started” Party which kicks off the 2011 V Wine Celebration weekend at The Pavilion at The Vintage Estates  located in close proximity to our host hotels! Guests will be together at this Friday night gathering where we’ll now hold our silent & showcase auctions comprised of unique wine, sports, art and travel packages to fit every lifestyle.  Throughout the evening varied appetizers, salads, entrées, desserts and other special treats will be offered by renowned restaurateurs and chefs, accompanied by a broad and plentiful selection of wines from top wineries.  Also, you won’t want to miss the inaugural BBQ Pitmasters /Vintner Cook Off . Four of the top barbecue masters and vintners pair off into teams preparing the most mouth watering ribs, pork, brisket and chicken cooked up and ready to be served for your sampling pleasure.

   After dining, guests will enjoy a high- energy performance by world class band and concert act David Martin’s House Party featuring 9 musicians and dancers.

   Saturday morning finds our guests attending the Research Symposium to gain knowledge about the latest cancer research. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of The V Foundation Scientific Advisory Board, which is composed of leading cancer physicians from across the country.

   Soak up the sunshine and relax Saturday afternoon around the pool where guests savor boutique and legendary wines and sample food at the Innovators & Icons Marketplace.

   Saturday activities culminate with everyone convening at Nickel & Nickel Winery for our Gala Dinner and Live Auction. Of course, great wine will be served!  The evening tops with a private performance by the unparalleled rock band legacy, The Doobie Brothers

   Mike Krzyzewski, Head Basketball Coach of Duke University, V Foundation Board member, and Coach of the 2008 Olympic Gold Medalists, Team USA and his wife Mickie will be returning to host the weekend.  If you want to have a fun filled weekend while at the same time making a difference in the fight against cancer, please join us August 5 & 6, 2011 in the beautiful Napa Valley!

The 13th Annual V Wine Celebration has reserved all rooms at the Villagio Inn & Spa and its sister property, the Vintage Inn, exclusively for our weekend guests. As headquarters for the weekend, rooms at the Villagio Inn & Spa will be filled first, with priority to guests participating in both days’ events. We encourage you to register early to ensure availability as we expect this event to sell out.

 Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  Your reservation is not confirmed until paid in full.

Weekend Ticket - $2,500 per person

Friday Only - $1,750 per person

Saturday Only - $2,250 per person

Saturday Only Table for Ten (10) - $22,500

*Hotel accommodations not included.

Hotel Accommodations

The Wine Celebration blocks the entire Villagio Inn & Spa and its sister hotel, The Vintage Inn, exclusively for V Wine Celebration guests. These partner hotels are pleased to offer V Wine Celebration guests special rates for the weekend.

All rooms must be reserved through the V Wine Celebration office. The hotel will not book your hotel room directly.

Your hotel stay must be secured with a credit card.  If your reservation is canceled less than 30 days prior to the event, your credit card will be charged for the full value of your hotel stay.  A deposit equal to 100% of the first night’s room rate and taxes will be charged to your credit card on July 1, 2011. The balance of your room rate and taxes, porterage, housekeeping, and incidentals will be due upon checkout.

For both Villagio Inn & Spa and Vintage Inn:

Guest Suite - $425.00, per night, plus tax

Guest Room - $365.00 per night, plus tax
