Wine Celebration Auction
Each year we gather the finest wine, travel, sport and entertainment experiences, along with classic sports memorabilia and unique fashion items for our auction.
For our 16th Annual V Foundation Wine Celebration we have a great assortment of travel, sports, and wine auction lots. Several of the auction lots have components of each, and future emails will be highlighting some of our top lots.
If your pleasure is travel, we have adventures like the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Aspen’s Food and Wine Classic, Italy with the famed Antinori Family, Barbados, Hong Kong, South Africa, Costa Rica, Punta De Mita, or driving Bentleys on ice in Finland. How about a raw, 10k diamond that you get to design and then name in New York, London, and Napa Valley.
Interested in sports? We have the Superbowl, The Masters, Wimbledon, and the College National Championship with Heisman Trophy winner and vintner Charles Woodson. How about being picked by coaches Steve Mariucci or Ronnie Lott for their Bocce Tournament teams at Carmen and Gail Policy’s house? If you are a NASCAR fan, you can join Jeff Gordon at two races along with Alpha Omega, Staglin, and Silver Oak vintners for a very special race and wine fan experience.
We also have a very exclusive Rubicon vertical: one 750ml bottle of each Rubicon wine ever released—that’s 30 bottles in total—beginning with the winery’s first release in 1978 and continuing through three winery name changes (all carrying the Rubicon label as their top Cabernet release) to 2009. Generously donated by private collectors Dr. Ron & Sheila Light. We have never seen this full group of wines ever auctioned off before!
Staying with wine, how about an exclusive dinner with famed vintner and our 2014 Vintner Grant Honoree Naoko Dalla Valle, or our 2001 and 2013 Vintner Grant Honoree Dick & Ann Grace with James Beard Award-winning Chef Charles Phan.
