The First Responders of 9/11 who are diagnosed with cancer are awarded a $1 million dollar grant in their honour at the V Wine Celebration event hosted by College Football Hall of Fame Coach, Lou Holtz. The Vintner Grant was awarded in honour of Suzanne Pride Bryan for breast cancer research at the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota. The inaugural Volunteer Grant was awarded to UCSF in honour of Derek & Cathy Reisinger. Coach K, and V Board member and Chairman of the US Olympic Committee, Larry Probst, win gold for the US in London. Entertainment by Chris Isaak
